You can connect your own AI agent to Volo Cash over MCP, the standard way AI agents reach other apps. Anthropic’s Claude, OpenAI’s ChatGPT and Google’s Gemini can all connect to MCP servers. Your agent can then look up your requests, budget, books and receipts while you work. It’s in beta.
Your agent runs on your own AI plan, so it doesn’t use your Volo Cash AI credits. Every plan can connect.
Connecting
- In your AI agent, add a custom connector (sometimes called an MCP server) with this URL:
https://volocash.com/mcp - Sign in to Volo Cash when asked.
- If you have more than one role, choose the role your agent should act as.
- Approve the connection.
Your agent sees only what that role can see in Volo Cash, and it can’t change anything.
Disconnecting
Open Settings, then Connected apps, and disconnect it. Anyone can disconnect their own role’s apps, and admins can disconnect any.
