Accepted File Types
Volo Cash accepts the following file formats for receipts:
- Images: JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF, WEBP, HEIC
- Documents: PDF
- Other: TIFF, BMP
Most phone photos (JPG or HEIC) work perfectly.
Receipt Tips
Take Clear Photos
- Lay the receipt on a flat, well-lit surface
- Make sure all text is readable — especially the total, date, and vendor name
- Avoid shadows and glare
What to Include
Your receipt should show:
- Vendor/store name
- Date of purchase
- Itemized list (if available)
- Total amount
Multiple Receipts
If your expense includes purchases from multiple stores or dates, upload all receipts to the same request. Add a line item for each separate purchase.
Digital Receipts
Email receipts and online order confirmations work great. Save them as PDF.
